In the morning, preschool children must be supervised by their parent/guardian until 9:00am. Please do not leave your child unattended in the playground or at the gate. You are welcome to come in with your child and help them to settle into the preschool once the staff have opened the doors. If you have any concerns about separation, please speak with staff so we can support you and your child.
At the end of the preschool day, we ask that you wait for your child in the outside learning environment. Staff will release children one at a time when they see a parent or authorised person waiting to collect them.
In accordance with the National Quality Standard, collection of children must be by a parent or authorised nominee over the age of 16 years, listed in the child’s enrolment records. It is not appropriate for primary school siblings or students to drop off or pick up preschool children. These are protective measures for our preschoolers.
Late drop-offs and early pick-ups must be documented via the sign in/sign out process at the front office.
