Preschool is the first step in your child’s learning journey at Strathnairn School.
Preschool helps children grow socially, emotionally, and academically while building confidence for the transition to primary school. During the preschool year, strong partnerships between families and the school make all the difference to your child.
When we work closely together, we make sure children feel safe, supported and excited about what’s ahead. By sharing information, celebrating milestones, and creating a sense of belonging, we ensure every child settles happily and starts school with a smile and a love for learning.
Children who turn 4 years of age on or before 30 April are eligible to attend preschool that year. Please visit our enrolment page for information about the online enrolment process. Our preschool is at capacity for 2026. When preschools are at capacity, the ACT Education Directorate’s enrolment team will find a place for your child at a nearby preschool.
